Ohio Energy Leadership Council (OELC) is a not-for-profit trade association comprised of energy-intensive manufacturing, industrial, institutional, information technology, and retail businesses that are proven leaders in energy markets in Ohio and across the country.
OELC advocates for energy laws, regulatory policies, and utility tariffs that ensure adequate, reliable, and efficient delivery and supply of energy for commercial and industrial customers in Ohio at competitive, reasonable, and transparent rates.

Through comprehensive legal, technical, educational, and lobbying services, OELC helps members proactively manage the reliability, cost, and supply of electricity and natural gas, and compete in the global marketplace.
Member-Driven
OELC’s executive committee is comprised entirely of elected representatives from OELC’s members. OELC advocacy and resources are funded by our members, with professional legal, technical, and back-office support retained by OELC to support its mission.
OELC welcomes new members from industrial companies, manufacturers, commercial enterprises, educational institutions, retailers, technology companies, data centers, and other businesses impacted by Ohio’s energy laws and utility tariffs.
